Meetings every second Monday at 19.00 in the center of Groningen
We are always looking for interested people. Whether you are a student or young professional who has just arrived in the city or has lived in Groningen for a while. Our members are in their twenties but we welcome people between 18 and 35 years old from all countries and backgrounds.
We looking for are people interested in meeting new people, forming international connections and giving back to the community. We are self-organised so we are seeking people that are pro-active, share project ideas and are up for joining organisation committees for our charity projects, social events or workshops.
Does that sound like you? Then have a look below on how to join us.
First steps to meeting us
We meet every second Monday at 19:00 to discuss projects and socialise. Our meetings are informally held at a pub and we welcome guests at every meeting. Simply, email us: rotaractgroningeninternational@gmail.com and we will invite you to our next meeting.
How does your first meeting work?
One of our board members will meet you prior to the start of the official meeting so we can tell you more about our current club business and to give you an already familiar face. You can then join our official meeting, get to know everyone and simply watch how it works. Afterwards we often socialise over a beer, the perfect time to get to know our members.
Keep coming to our meetings! Once you feel like you want to join we ask you to actively participate in our club. We will then have a voting to officially accept you as an active member of our club. But don’t worry, we rarely ever don’t accept someone and you can still join everything when you are still a guest.
